Pluot upside down ginger cake
My first attempt of a dessert from Ripe for Dessert by David Lebovitz. I had a couple pounds of ripe pluots from my mother's tree and decided this looked like a great cake for my sister's birthday. And you know what? It WAS. Beautifully gingery, with the bite of pluots and raspberries cutting through and melding gorgeously with the molasses. Give it a try!
