Red Dragonfly at Santee Lakes

I took this picture yesterday at Santee Lakes using my 300mm F4 Nikon lens with a 1.4 TC. With the magnification setting for my sensor, I was effectively using a 630mm lens. I was hand holding so I shot wide open which was 5.6 so I had almost no depth of field. I'm going to a workshop on Sunday with Steve Cirone and he has a ring flash and some Nikon macro lenses that I'll be able to try. I'm hoping that with those I'll be able to get some DOF.
