Deep Inside the Iris Cave
We have some Iris that bloom all year, and this came from the garden this morning. I used an extension tube on my macro lens so that I could really get in close. There was very little depth of field so I took three different shots, with only the focus point changing, and then combined them in Photoshop. There still isn't much depth, but it's better than it was. The flower interior reminded my wife and I of a cave.
Other images where I've done focus stacking for greater depth of field can be seen here.
