Some fabric, and lots of embroidery. A dish towel collaged with fabric and stitch and quilted and mounted on stretcher bars. The quote is one I heard while living in Germany and was attributed to an old Indian saying. It translates to "When the children are young, give them roots; when they are older give them wings." Somehow in my brain it tied in with my dream of a home with roots. Blogged.
