Have I mentioned that I love this lion? He is a rescue - thankfully he was rescued from a woman who kept him in her back yard until her neighbors complained. Thanks to her stupidity, he has chronic issues with his paws and paw pads - I'm assuming because she had him declawed. I'm glad I don't know who this woman is. He is well loved and well taken care of now. He's a survivor and a very happy boy.
A little Jonathan before I disappear for a wee bit. I'm trying my hand at location shooting tomorrow, taking my typical artsy sort of portraits of an old friend's daughter for her high school graduation. I can click the heck out of archtecture and animals but human portrait work is still new to me.
