Summer School 2017: Mandela Rules

This School was the second training event for NPMs organised by Penal Reform International and the Human Rights Implementation Centre, University of Bristol, in partnership with the Association for the Prevention of Torture, with funding from the Danish Government.

Held on 14-17 August 2017 in Bristol, UK. Gathered 21 members and staff of NPMs from 19 countries as well as expert facilitators. Theme for the 2017 summer school was 'Detention monitoring applying the UN Nelson Mandela Rules'.
