    How do you get those colors to come out? I tried taking some of my own boots, but they pale in comparison. So much to learn...

    One of the reasons I went with the S1 IS was that from the reviews and sample photos, it really seemed to handle color well.

    No magic here. I wish I could take credit for the colors, but that's all camera. You can get warming filters to bring out even more color, but I shot this one before I got any.

    Someone has asked me about the color handling of the camera and I shot this for him.

    Swing bolt (fall colors)

    I'm not familiar enough with your camera to tell you what you would need to do. If your camera has a saturation control, you could try that.
