My Big Fat Greek Thanksgiving - Dafni Greek Taverna, New York City
A "Greek" Thanksgiving meal that consisted of Kolokythosoupa of roasted butternut squash and apple soup followed by Yiortini Salata made of mixed greens with rasins, walnuts, roasted apples and honey vinaigrette.
The main course was Psiti Galopoula which is roasted turkey with honey glaze served with mashed sweet potatoes, steamed string beans, and dried fruit compote (lots of figs!)
Desert was a Kolokythopita (pumpkin pie) or a Galaktoboureko (custard in a pastry)
