This was one of my most requested cupcakes this Spring. I make it with both vanilla or chocolate cake and either raspberry or strawberry buttercream. This is a vanilla cupcake with raspberry buttercream. It's simple yet its deliciousness comes from the purity of the ingredients which include a triple vanilla cake made from home-made Madagascar Bourbon vanilla sugar, vanilla extract and vanilla bean. The buttercream is made from fresh pureed raspberries (no coloring added!).
