Bringing Home the Bacon Cupcakes
A few months back, my mom sent me a bacon-topped cupcake recipe. While the combo didn't really appeal to me, she kept asking if I had made them yet. Since she is here in France for a visit this weekend, I figured I would try my hand at a batch for Mother's Day. I made up the recipe myself since the one mom sent (with oatmeal muffins as the base) was just too healthy for me!
I could take or leave the bacon but the maple syrup/caramel buttercream on these pecan cinnamon cupcakes is to DIE FOR! Recipe coming soon to my blog.
