Grace and poise?

Adam effortlessly moves upwards. Gritstone has lots of rounded bits, so a good surface area of, well, skin, helps keep you on the rock. Or not.....

By the way, this is Kirkus's Corner, Stanage, England, E1 5b

Eleventh Earl, nordique, az_, and 3 other people added this photo to their favorites.

What routes is this? Its obviously at Stanage, and from the position looks like it might be The Tippler?

btw feel free to add it to the Grit pool.

Edit - Have just looked at the others in the sequence and its Kirkus's Corner.

Happy to double the numbers in the grit group, Neil!

Thanks for the comments, guys. The climber of Bright Orange Muppet. No, seriously..........

Yay I'm famous! Thanks Anne, you've made me look like I'm competent :-)

The route is Kirkus Corner, just right of Flying Buttress Direct. Don't be fooled by the dangling ropes, there's a good nut just by my foot.

      Adam - you ARE competent!

This made me say 'wow' aloud when I saw it. SO I had to press the star button.

Well thanks very much, Sticky. Adam said 'wow', I said 'aghhh this is toooo hard!!!!'

And for any non-climbers reading Adam's comment, a nut is a piece of climbing equipment. Just in case you're wondering.........

This is a really dramatic image Anne, nice one!
Being able to compose/take photos whilst climbing must take some steady nerves, what's the secret? ;-)

Thanks, John. You give me too much credit. I clambered up the next (easy) route so it wasn't really that gnarly!

A perfect and classic climbing shot. Good stuff.
