Daylight Fading (come and waste another year...)
The more I look at this photo, the more I like it. Other than the lens flare, the lighting throughout the photo is something I'm really proud of. I like the way the color temperature goes from very warm at the bottom, to nice and cool at the top in the clouds. As you look into the sun setting in the distance, the light overexposes but it works well for this shot. The shadows are dark, but you can still see detail. The clouds were perfect, blocking out enough light to keep it from overexposing, but casting a nice blue hue everywhere. I know I'm blowing my own horn, but I'm proud of the shot, and I won't apologize for it.
