I made Banana Bread this past week and placed a mini-loaf on one of my Grandma's "Hand Painted China" pieces she did 100 years ago in 1909!!!
It is my favorite piece that I have of hers.
Please view on the LARGE and ORIGINAL sizes to see her fine details ~
This is the recipe I promised Cheryl I would post and anyone who would like to try it.
* BISQUICK BANANA BREAD *
3 cups Bisquick baking mix
2/3 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1 cup mashed ripe bananas (2-3 medium)
3/4 cup nuts (optional)
Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease & flour (or spray PAM) loaf pan, 9 x 5 x 3 inches and also 2 mini-loaf pans.
Beat all ingredients (except nuts) in a large bowl for 30 seconds.
Beat on medium speed for 3 minutes.
Add nuts (I am nutty enough, so I don't add them... lol)
Pour into pans.
Bake until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean, 55 to 60 minutes.
Cool 10 minutes; remove from pans.
Cool completely before slicing.
Refrigerate any leftovers.
ENJOY!!
