Beer roast ~ (Dinner all in one pan)

Recipe:

 

3 1/2 pounds pot roast

5 baking potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks

8 ounces fresh carrots, peeled and sliced

1 onion, chopped

1-16 ounce canned green beans, drained

1-16 ounce can beer

1/4 tsp. pepper

 

Pre-heat oven to 325.

 

In a frypan, medium, brown pot roast evenly on all sides.

Add all ingredients in a large roasting pan. Cover and place on bottem oven rack. Baste every 1/2 hour and turn over after 1 hour. Cook for 2 hours and 30 minutes, or until done and not pink inside.
