Jacqueline Najjengo, a full-time agriculture extension worker and a recent graduate of Makerere University, in the community garden in Mpigi District, Uganda. The garden was set up by the Humanitarian Project Against Malaria, Poverty, Hunger, and Illiteracy in Kasamu-Kyali Parish in Uganda's Mpigi District. It serves as an agricultural demonstration site to help farmers learn about new vegetables and planting methods. The project, carried out by the Rotary clubs of Muyenga, Uganda, and Genk-Noord, Belgium, is made possible by a Health, Hunger and Humanity Grant from The Rotary Foundation.
