Silver Creek Falls, during Autumn
This waterfall is located where Silver Creek meets 27 Sideroad in Halton Hills. This is a favourite place of mine to visit, any time of year.
This photograph is another one that has been Orton processed. No HDR this time - just the one exposure. The sharp layer is +1 exposure. The blur layer is 15 pixels gaussian, and set to 'multiply'. I've also *very* slightly adjusted the tone curve after the Orton effect was applied. The original image was taken with my 10mm lens and a ND 8X filter to blur the water.
The stone bridge in the background is over 100 years old, and is considered a heritage feature of the area. Its time is short lived, however, as the town is looking to replace the bridge as early as next year. The spot will lose a lot of it's character if this is switched for a modern culvert or bridge.
