Morning Pushes Against the Glass

How many times have I looked through the dusty clerestory window in my living room and thought about the picture it could frame of the world outside. When the sun rises in the morning I'm particularly captivated by this view and the way the dust gnaws at the crispness of shapes to create an impressionistic landscape out of the hill that holds a highway. Apparently (although I had forgotten this to be the case) I rose to the challenge one morning with the Lensbaby and captured this image. My favorite thing about it is not the predictable sort of pleasure one might derive from the criss-crossing power lines, but the dark stain that creeps up the bottom of the frame.
