I'm in Philadelphia for a short 36 hours. I had some major problems at Toronto's Pearson airport, not least of which was the 90 minutes of detainment in US Customs I experienced because they don't like my name (yes, I know already: 2 first names are a problem!). Actually, they're looking for someone who shares my name and approximate age. So says Customs. Though I would have missed my flight resulting from the detainment, Air Canada came to the rescue and cancelled the flight because not enough people booked. It turns out that US Customs could have held me for an additional 2 1/2 hours to get at the root cause of naming a family with a biblical name for the surname because I wasn't, in fact, in a hurry.
And here we have a delicious Philly cheesesteak: provolone cheese, ground sirloin, and fried oninon from Jim's Steaks, the best cheesesteaks in town. Heaven! And a can of old fashioned cream soda Philadelphia, I love you! US Customs, relax a little and have another cheesesteak.
