Gare Centrale

Luxembourg's central train station, as seen through Rue Joseph Junck, by night.

Best viewed Large, On Black.

It was built in 1907, replacing an old timber construction from the 1850's, and was designed by a trio of German architects (Rüdell, Jüsgen, and Scheuffel). The clock tower is in direct line with the Avenue de la Liberté and the Adolphe Bridge, enabling it to be seen from a considerable distance.
