Malay Wedding Gifts (30)

This small gift is given by he host or bride/bridgroom's family to show appreciation to guests after attending a wedding party or ceremony. It is a long Muslim Malay tradition from Malaysia practiced over so many years. These gifts come in many designs. Scented pot purey, sweets sometimes money are put into these small gift containers. Eggs ( as a symbol of fertility) in decorative holders are also given and this is the most common in the Malay culture.
