The Pivsko Jezero is a reservoir in the North West of Montenegro and is the largest reservoir in the country.
The Piva is about 3 km north of the village Mratinje by the 1971 to 1976 built, 220 m high dam Mratinje dammed. The reservoir is long on the 33 km, covering an area of 12.5 square kilometers and is up to 188 m deep. The lake lies at an altitude of 675 m above sea level and is surrounded by wooded mountains that rise up to an altitude of nearly 2000 m.
