Lazy time by the harbor.
Cleaning up the lens of my Ikonta 521/A has paid well. It was worth all the time and effort to take the lens apart, clean it, put it back together and re-adjust its focus.
The Anastigmat lenses, variation of the Triotar (three elements) lens design, have never been regarded by me and this little 645 folder has proven me wrong. Sharp across all apertures, almost no flare at all in contrast to its uncoated optics and a narrow depth of field even at 10 meters away, delivered very pleasant results.
Look at how blurred the background has been rendered, the amount of detail that has been captured and of course the extra long tonality the development with D-23 has offered.
Definitely one of my all time favourite cameras!
