Glacier Bay National Park, days 6-7, July 2015
Photos from the last 2 days of our trip in Glacier Bay National Park. On day 6 we paddled from Ptarmigan Creek to the Scidmore Cut, and then waited for high tide. We still had to do some portaging, but the higher water enabled us to walk the boat most of the way. Our last campsite was on a lovely beach in Scidmore Bay.

On day 7 the rain returned. Shortly after the tour boat picked us up we saw a mama and baby orca at close range. My camera was packed away, but I was content to just watch. That evening I did the short hike to the Bartlett River. That night we caught the ferry back to Juneau, where we geared up for part 3 of our trip.
