Red-necked Phalaropes

The huge (15,000+) flock of Red-necked Phalaropes had probably settled down to rest from being wing-blown at sea. Seemed like a 3:1 ratio of females to males, but you wouldn't know from this photo. Gulls are young Bonaparte's Gulls.
