Brown-headed Cowbird - 5789

The male Brown-headed Cowbird calling from a high perch at the Las Gallinas water treatment ponds. Nearby are extensive cattails, hosting nesting populations of Marsh Wrens, Red-winged Blackbirds and most recently the Great-tailed Grackle.
