November 2-4, 2007 marked the first annual festival in Starkville, MS honoring the life and music of "The Man in Black". Visitors from all over the globe came to the small town where Johnny Cash spent a night in jail back in 1965. The town and the county sheriff's department, in recognition of a life spent stumbling towards redemption, granted a symbolic pardon issued to members of the Cash family on Johnny's behalf.

We all hope for this to become an annual event bringing together friends, family, and fans to celebrate and raise money for the Starkville Boys & Girls Club and Oktibbeha County Heritage Museum.

Thanks to all who attended, performed, pardoned, and volunteered. We will see you in 2008!
