Pegasus (T. Hojyo)
Design : Takashi Hojyo
Paper : Double tissue, 16*16
Final size : 6*5
100th picture, my Flickr account is all grown-up now ! I really wanted to work on that milestone, and the result is deeply satisfying.
This pegasus design stands out on two points :
-The shorter hind legs allow very lifelike postures (at this scale, the front legs are too thick to try anything fancy, so I went for a "surprised/wary" attitude)
-The wings. You got wings the size of the horse to toy with. Those nice, round curves look quite good, all thanks to MC shaping !
On a side note, starting with a 16cm square works well, but I would recommend not going smaller with double tissue. The scale proved, as often, an enjoyable challenge (although the biggest challenge must have been balancing that stupid coin for the photo !).
