Homage to Kotomi

I have always been a deep admirer of Kotomi Yamamura's work--

She is a London-based artist who uses polymer clay as the basis for her respendent Renaissance-style jewels--and in addition to being a classically trained dancer, she is also a wonderful photographer, painstakingly recording the jewelry collections in museums for the benefit of those of us who cannot pop over across the pond to get our inspiration first hand; we owe her a serious debt. I always wanted to try my hand at her style, and when I recently came into possession of some vintage glass cabs and stone pendants, just had to give it a whirl. Mine of course, are much cruder....
Go look at Kotomi's work for the real deal.

Thanks! I beleive the shop owner identified the cab as Italian Marble; next I'll be setting up some of the sea-sediment jasper.
