Alabama Gov. Robert Bentley signs a State of Emergency Proclamation declaring a statewide State of Emergency in his Capitol office, Tuesday, April 4, 2017, in anticipation for severe weather moving through Alabama on Wednesday morning. At his side is Franklin Johnson, Deputy Chief of Staff. The National Weather Service is forecasting a potential for significant threat of severe weather to include destructive and long-track tornadoes, hail up to baseball size and damaging straight line winds for several counties.
