Feijoa chutney to make
decisions, decisions. My lovely neighbour Mary sent the kids over with 10kgs of feijoas and I must decide what to do. Take some to petanque tomorrow, yes. Eat heaps, yes. And make feijoa and ginger chutney.
Ironic, isn't it: feijoas are currently $NZ9 a kg and yet almost all Kiwis have a tree or two in their gardens. (That puts paid to the theory that higher prices comes with supply and demand.) My one has fruit but not ready yet and the other two are still too young - only planted them earlier this year.
