Downtown Chicago:
I spent early afternoon in Evanston shooting action shots of Field Hockey players (those shots can be found HERE ). Then I spent hours in downtown around the Millennium and Grant park areas. Tired and well past sunset, I was on my way from Grant park to the El when I crossed a the bridge over the train tracks of the Purple Line (I think). The sight caught my eye and I didn't waste anytime propping up my tripod and camera. Took two exposures of different times. This one was clearly the better one.

Only later when I was examining the photo on the computer did I notice the lights on the 2nd building from the right which had been switched on to say"The Blues". (There was a blues festival going on in Grant Park that day.)

I have another version of this same photo jazzed up in Adobe. You can see it HERE

Well, this is just one of the most gorgeous cityscape night shots I've ever seen! I love that the building says The Blues. You have some phenomenal photos in your stream. It's been a pleasure exploring and I will be back to visit again!

That's a great night time photo. Thanks for sharing. I can tell how old this photo is because they're now adding onto the building that says "The Blues" on it. They're making it taller!

Also, just to let you know, those are the Metra train lines leading to Millennium Station.

Wow! This is amazing. I love Chicago. I spent 5 months there in 1998. It is time to go back and take similar pictures.
    Great job this one.
    Cheers from London
