      Travel Chick 67 - Thanks. It's a blend of berries: bilberry, a wild European blueberry, and raspberries w/ some mysterious spices, vanilla and lemon juice.

      Eye on Nature - I love Bonne Maman, too, but this is a different brand, Francis Miot, not for export. I asked my friend to bring me back something that I could not get here. Though it was purchased in Paris, it is produced in the village of Uzos, in the French Pyrenees.

      Oh I completely missed your title. Duh! Thanks for the info. Sounds really good. My hubby will be in Paris next month, I will ask him to get me one too.

      Oh my god, this sounds so good. I wonder if they would have it in one of the better gourmet shops here in NYC. I'll have to check it out. Great photograph!! I can taste it from here!

      Shilpa - This was purchased at Galeries Lafayette, the mega department store, in their food court. Miot makes a wide range of jams and other artisan confections. His website is an eyeful.

      Dennis - Thank you. I've allowed myself only a tiny spoonful for now. Deserves some home-baked brioche or genoise. Good luck trying to find it. Perhaps the brand will become better known here after the Fancy Food Show at the Javits Center this summer.
