Cookie Factory

This was a biscuit and candy factory built in 1914. It closed earlier this year. The building is now for sale. At the time of its construction it was state of the art - the owner had spent several years studying construction techniques, worker psychology, and production methods. The London Heritage Foundation lists it at the number one at risk building this year. According to them the white tiled building was referred to as a "Sunshine Palace" in its early years.
