On Saturday, October 13th, 2012, I followed the NASA orbiter, Endeavour, around the streets of LA from 3am to 3pm. Countless thousands turned up to witness the vehicle's trip, and I heard frequent chants of "USA!" as well as awe-filled disbelief at the orbiter's size.
