Finn Juhl's House
The architect designed his own home in 1942 (an interesting year to be thinking about building a new home!). It's a home with very strong links to traditional Danish architecture, from the outside, but is very clearly modern at the same time. The house was very well preserved and remained in his possession (and that of his common law wife, Hanne) all their lives. As such, it retains all of his original possessions and furnishings. I highly recommend a visit if anyone is thinking of a trip to Denmark. It's being administered by the Ordrupgaard museum, which happens to be right next door.
