Cleall window, Waltham Abbey

Stained glass window in the north aisle of Waltham Abbey church. Above is St. George with the vanquished dragon visible at his feet. Below is the martyr St. Cecilia in her capacity as the patron saint of musicians. She is playing a pipe organ, with an angel working the bellows.

This window was given by Revd. A Cleall, Rector, in memory of his father George and mother Cecilia. It was designed by Smith and Pawle of A K Nicholson, and installed in 1947.
