Mr. Potato Dead

    Prev Next

This is another shot that got screwed up by failed trigger.

    Two tries and nothing.

The new debris detector handed me this. First try.

I like how the nose is carving out a potato cavity.

It's really rare to get two keepers in a row. This is even better, two good ones in a row.

    I'm retiring for the night.

I made a larger than usual money investment in this set-up, 5$ for the Mr. Potato Head kit and 75 cents for the potato.

This is a graphic warning of what happens when you sneeze, pass gas and belch at the same time.

    You have been warned.

      qp, carl,

My writing was not clear. I had tried this shot twice before and the trigger was super bad.

This one is just fine, thanks.

Incredible symmetry and clever idea! Instant mashed potatoes.

At my small scale the explosions are symmetric as hemispheres. When I surround it with lots of water (a potato is probably about 70-90% water) the explosion front becomes darn near spherical.
