Pandora sphinx moth caterpillar

Eudorpha pandorus. First time I'd seen one of these! I found this ginormous but amazingly beautiful caterpillar on Virginia creeper near Richfield park. I took it home to raise. Unlike most caterpillars in its family, mature ones have a strange plate on their rear rather than a horn.
