MORNINGTON CRESCENT-08 CPS 190211
Mornington Crescent Station, opened in 1907 on the Hampstead Tube, designed by Leslie Green with his oxblood faience tiles. Closed for renovation between 1992-1998, when the station had got very shabby, and it was touch and go if it would reopen or not. Glad it has, because it is a wonderful example of how the station looked on opening. Many original features have been kept or recreated, and to top it, very pleasant staff too.
