    I had no idea you could use these for dyeing with, I imagine it's a messy process, but interesting! What color do you get as a result?

    Great shot! I've experienced the dye personally on my hands, trying to get to the nuts's brown!

    Oh yeah, I just finished my day-long experiment with black walnut dyeing. It was a lot of fun and the colors turned out great. I must confess, I got inspired by your blog entry about the natural dyeing. The photos of that yarns were just so delicious :-)
