Perhaps this is the R.J Collier, owner of Collier magazine and a 1910 Wright "B" aircraft. Reference here:

This appears to include Dr. J.C. Eberhardt of the Dayton Aeroplane Club. See NY Times article here:

All noted parties appear to have affiliations with aeronautical clubs or associations. A significant convention of aeronatical clubs was held in New York City in 1910, though this photo may or may not depict that location or events surrounding it (reference website in comment above). Eberhardt was named specifically in that NY Times article.

Could this be C.J. Edwards of "C.J. Edwards and Son" as listed in the "1937 The Aeroplane Directory of the Aviation and Allied Industries"? Reference here:

You've brought up some good questions, encouragement. The title for this record could be improved to match the captions and fill in the names a little more. It's still not clear as to why this group was together, however, so we'll postpone making any other changes until we get more information.

    Here they are in Wikipedia:

By coincidence they are both written by me over a year ago.

This group is together for the funeral of Wilbur Wright (b. 1867 - d. 1912). Another copy of this photo is in the Bain/LOC collection here, albeit with Robert J. Collier misidentified as "Collser."
