Manana Sunrise

Got up early (0330 hrs) to meet some Hawaii Photo Forums folks in Waimanalo. Our goal was to photograph the sunrise over Rabbit Island (Manana.) It was a lofty goal for me considering I was in the company of seasoned photographers (and the fact that I had to function on 3 hours of sleep.) It was a great meet-up with some great peeps. Thanks all!

Nikon D7000, Nikkor 16-35mm f/4.0G, with Fader ND MK II to slow the shutter, and two Hitech ND Grad filters (Hard 0.6 and Hard 0.9) handheld to balance the exposure. (Not a good idea to stack filters, but tried anyway.) Two-stop OE, WB tweaked for more orange, and camera set to "Vivid." SOOC, conv. to JPEG in CNX2.
