Chinese fried chicken

Ingredients (for two people):

- 200 g of chicken breast

- 1 piece of garlic

- 1 piece of ginger

- 2 table spoons of Shaoxing rice wine

- 3 table spoons of soy sauce

- 6 table spoons of starch

- 1 tea spoons of Chinese five-spice powder

- Fried oil

- Some of butter lettuce

- A half of lemon

 

Directions:

1. Grate down ginger and garlic and mix them with soy sauce and Shaoxing rice wine.

2. Cut the chicken breast into slices of 5 - 7 mm thickness.

3. Mix thoroughly the sliced chicken breast with (1) by hand.

4. Leave (3) in refrigerator for 30 minutes.

5. Mix starch and Chinese five-spice powder in a plastic bag.

6. Put (4) into (5) and shake it up.

7. Fry (6) deeply until brown.

8. Arrange (7) and lettuce as in the photo.
