    Nice!! I have never made a sweater from top to bottom. What kind of increases you used?

    Rodprjonar I'm curious about this strategy, too. I think it's more efficient and will probably result in better fitter sweaters.

    For the increases, what I did was to cast on one stitch in the appropriate color (using the backward loop method) every time the chart for working bottom-up said to decrease one stitch. And I like to knit into the back of the new stitch when I encounter it on the rollowing round - it tightens it up just a bit and it blends perfectly into the fabric.

    I have to say, after doing it this way, I think I'll stick to it. I worked a non-lopapeysa bottom-up, and I find this more to my taste. Plus I've been able to try it on and adjust the fit as I go along.
