Video game retail store, consumerism at its finest..
This video game retailer can't even keep up with the relentless pace by which new consoles are introduced.
The PlayStation 2 shelf mostly contains PS3 games, and notice the "4" on a piece of paper above the PS4 games. To the left is a shelf marked "Wii" which contains "Wii U" games. Not pictured: Xbox One games on a shelf which has a marquee with the original XBOX logo (a system of two generations earlier).
PlayStation, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, XBOX, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii, Wii U, Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS etc. The video game press is already speculating about Wii U and Xbox One successors, no doubt to be announced soon.
With consumer electronics that have predictable "movie sequel" names (PlayStation 4, iPhone 6 etc.), is this truly consumerism at its best...?
