"Down to a sunless sea..."
For the most part, the English Channel lived up to my expectations. I had imagined a narrow strip of water that today is not nearly the boundary and or obstacle that it once proved to be for invading armies. Overall, the crossing was very smooth as people inside either ate, drank, exchanged money, chatted, slept, took photos or did a combination of said activities. Then before we knew it we were in France.
