    I've become increasingly critical of the bokeh created by my nifty fifty canon f1.8. On my lunch break from work I found this lens on a junk stall at Leicester Market for £3 which included the fully functioning Zenit 11 it was attached to!

    I am in love with the way this lens renders out of focus areas. I understand that it is Russian clone of the Carl Zeiss Biotar..this lens puts others a hundred times more expensive in the shade!!

      Some people would say this is distracting but I see it as decorative. It grates on me when people make absolute statements about what is Good and Bad bokeh for pseudo-scientific reasons. Glad you like it!
