Doing some brainstorming for our Fire Department 2012 year photo. This one is of my twin brother and I. I shot this in studio (at the FD against a black BG.) I used 3 lights for the shoot. Heavy post work in CS6. I kind of like the "grungy" look, I think it fits with the look of the gear. All in all I will have 36 people side by side. Did one like it last year against white so this year it's going to be dark.

Looking for advice Does the subtle brick back ground work or is it a little distracting. Same with the Processing. I like it but I've been looking at it way to long not to be a little biased. Thanks in advance for the advice.

Strobist info:

Key: Elinchrom ranger quadra RX shot through Medium Octa close and camera right. Power set a little low to give some depth to the front of the subjects.

One elinchrom 500brxi on each side of the subjects to give a cross or rim light on them. Shot through 21" softboxes Power greater than the key.

Both subjects were shot independently and composited in in photoshop along with the BG.
