Cape Alava Trail

this is a beautiful, unique 3+ mile hike to the ocean by Lake Ozette in Olympic National Park. it traverses delicate ecosystems that normally are wet, wet wet so the trail has been built as a board walk for the most part...up until the end when the coast is reached. it was a dry day when we walked it, but i can only imagine how difficult/slippery it might be when it is wet, usually most of the year.
