Teasel water

Rain collects in the "pockets" at the junction of leaves and stem on teasel plants. I don't know if it has any advantage to the plant but these mini-lakes are much visited by insects.

 

Known as Venus's Bath in England and Cabaret des oiseau in France dueto this natural water retention
